# 史蒂夫®奖的获奖者是如何在中国开拓新市场的呢？

![1504iPai](https://blog.stevieawards.com/hubfs/1504iPai.jpg)爱拍(iPai)作为中国第一家纯外资拍卖行成立于2012年，爱拍拍卖向中国消费者销售更多领域的商品，而不仅仅局限于艺术品。该拍卖公司在他们下属的上海展示厅里，与美国地区希望在中国购物中心和网站上销售商品的企业携手开展拍卖事业。而且该企业还帮助希望将商品进口到中国的企业进军市场，提供包括物流、商标和徽标注册、市场调查、以及在中国市场的实际经营方面的服务。

 

“我们的服务是帮助小规模的企业进军中国市场，在进行大规模投资之前测试中国市场，理解消费者的口味。”爱拍拍卖的创设人兼首席执行官Deb Weidenhamer说道。Deb在拍卖商务领域里是知名人士。她1995年成立了总部位于凤凰城的[美国拍卖公司](https://americanauctionco.com/)。

 

**保障顾客成功**

我们向Deb提出了获得史蒂夫®奖对公司具有什么样的意义的问题。她非常幸福地向我们进行了具体的说明：“我们公司不是仅仅追求自己公司的成功，而是保障顾客也能切实地取得成功，这本身是一件令我们非常自豪的事情。获得这个奖，在美国、中国和更远的地方宣传了我们开展的事业，帮助我们的顾客进一步了解，我们通过拍卖来销售他们的商品，并达到了什么样的商务目标。”她接着说道：“而且这个奖也让我们的团队真正地认识到爱拍拍卖的愿景，以及公司正在朝着什么样的方向前进。”

**增强信誉**

Deb还对获得史蒂夫®奖如何在地区内提高爱拍拍卖的知名度进行了说明。“获得这一高荣誉的国际商务奖不仅在美国和中国，还在地球村的其他国家里提高了我们公司的信誉。我们目前正在向世界各地的消费者开展销售活动，并正在寻求在其他市场扩张事业领域。荣获史蒂夫®奖的荣誉将帮助我们将我们的计划进一步变成现实。"

**乐于学习**

我们向Deb提出了是什么让Deb拥有在中国开展新事业的洞察力的问题。“我见了一些人，和他们咨询了在中国应该如何开展事业，这些人都是拥有着将他们的想法变成现实的远大目标的人。”Deb对我们说，“美国人可能会将这种想法叫做洞察力， 但是在中国，这种想法被认为是冒昧和唐突的。在拥有数千年历史的中国，你要认识到‘你是谁’的这个问题是没有意义的。为了积累声誉，需要重新开始，接受地区的文化，乐于向中国人学习，这是非常必要的。”

Deb接着说，“在中国开展事业不是仅仅一天就可以决定下来的好主意，需要调查和谨慎的计划。最重要的是需要去付出，你想渗透到这个市场多少，就需要付出多少。无论在任何地方，都很难会快速地实现成功，在中国更是这样。如果没能接受文化和习惯的复杂性，就不会拥有任何成果，无味地耗费时间，令自己的命运变得扑朔迷离。”

**向中国消费者介绍美国产品**

2013年爱拍拍卖举行了100多场拍卖，向中国消费者们介绍了加利福尼亚的精酿啤酒、煎炸锅、香烟、营养保健品等数千种美国商品。“很多产品都是从80美元起拍，最终甚至以23000美元被拍下。”Deb说，“尤其是手表和提包人气最高。”

“企业应该知道他们拥有优秀品质的产品，中国消费者愿意购买优质产品。你甚至可以用比在美国更高的价格销售更多的产品。”

**寻找好的顾客**

爱拍拍卖有一个寻找关注的小规模企业作为顾客的营业部门，Deb为我们进行了说明。此外，还有审核部门，严格审查产品，拒绝达不到标准的产品。

正因为如此，产品几乎在拍卖中总是引起反响。卖不出去的产品低于10%，此时会到其他的拍卖场次拍卖或者退回给委托者，爱拍公司不收取报酬。

“爱拍公司通常和公司一起合作，但也接受一些希望确认产品是否适合中国的独立企业家和发明家的委托。”

拍卖事业被证明是给了Deb Weidenhamer活力的事业。“拍卖是时时刻刻都在变化的产业，让我不断地被充实。”她说，“通过拍卖为中国的普通人带来名牌产品是一个非常令人开心的理念，不仅对于大企业，对于中小企业来说，也注入了新的活力。为中国消费者带来可以购买到以前接触不到的产品的机会和给企业带来可以进入中国市场的机会的工作，是令人非常充实的体验。

Deb Weidenhamer是中国首家纯外资拍卖公司“爱拍拍卖”有限公司的创立者也是首席执行官。她拥有的美国拍卖公司American Auction Co始建于20年前，公司取得了巨大的成功并入选INC 500强企业。为了向中国中产层介绍以拍卖购买消费材料的概念，她创立了基地位于上海的爱拍拍卖有限公司，2011年正式成立以来，取得了惊人的成果。

爱拍公司还通过向中国消费者直接介绍新产品、构建实际市场数据的市场进入服务，向寻找进入逐渐庞大的中国市场的机会的西欧企业提供信息。她不仅同时经营美国和中国的企业，开展商务，而且还在许多中国大学开展关于企业家精神的演讲，为学习西欧拍卖的中国拍卖协会(China Association of Auctioneers)提供帮助。

作为国际企业家和中小企业专家而获得一致好评的Deb Weidenhamer获得美国时代杂志的邀请，撰写《投资中国》的文章。她还在哈佛大学商务学校、INC500上演讲，应邀做客包括China Daily, CNBC, Fox Business, NPR, Money Watch, Global Entrepreneur在内的许多美国和中国电视节目。此外，Weidenhamer还是发现(Discovery)频道电视真人秀节目 "Auctioneer$"的 主要出演成员。
