Today, Tuesday, 4 June, is the final extended entry deadline for the 21st annual IPRA Golden World Awards, the top international public relations awards competition.

Entries will be accepted through 11:59PM EST. To begin the submission process, you should request an entry kit here and you will receive it right away. No additional late penalties or fees will be charged in association with the deadline extension.

The 2013 competition, conducted by the International Public Relations Association, is open to local, regional, national or international public relations programmes carried out or completed in 2012/2013.

The number of categories in the GWA has doubled this year, as now there are separate categories for Agency and for Inhouse entries. Entrants may submit any number of nominations to any number of categories, which include: Community Relations, Corporate Communications, Crisis Management, Digital Media Relations, Event Management, Internal Communications, Launch of a New Product, PR on a Shoestring, Publications, Social Media for PR, and Technology, among others. THE STEVIE® AWARDS TO MANAGE IPRA’S GOLDEN WORLD AWARDS

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, 13 December, 2012: The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) has announced that it has engaged the Stevie Awards to manage its Golden World Awards for Excellence in Public Relations. IPRA & Stevie Awards Partnership

IPRA is the world’s leading international association for public relations practitioners.  The Stevie Awards organize the world’s leading business awards programmes, including The International Business Awards and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

The IPRA Golden World Awards offer world-wide recognition and acclaim to world-class public relations programmes. Inaugurated in 1990 and conducted every year since, they can lay claim to being among the most prestigious awards in the field. The competition is open to local, regional, national or international public relations programmes carried out or completed in the previous 12 months.

The 2013 edition will open for entries in mid-January.
