Winners have been announced in the tenth annual Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards, the only awards program to recognize innovation in business throughout the entire Asia-Pacific region.

The 2023 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards have recognized organizations in 19 nations and territories including Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam. More than 800 nominations about innovative achievements in the 29-nation APAC region were considered by the judges this year in categories such as Award for Excellence in Innovation in Products & Services, Award for Innovative Management, and Award for Innovation in Corporate Websites, among many others.

 

Among the top overall winners in the 2023 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are HP. Inc, with 13 Stevie Awards in total from their offices in Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam. Cisco Systems India [Pvt] Ltd of Bangalore, India won 11 Stevie Awards in total in categories including Award for the Innovative Use of Technology in Customer Service - Telecommunications Industries and Award for Innovation in Customer Service Management, Planning & Practice - Computer Industries. IBM worldwide won 10 Stevie Awards in categories including Innovative Achievement in Customer Satisfaction and Achievement in Product Innovation.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 executives around the world acting as judges in February and March.


For the first time, the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards features an edition of the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies, a worldwide public vote for all nominees in the competition’s Company/Organization categories. Voting will be ongoing through April 28, 2023. Winners in these categories will receive a crystal People’s Choice Award.

Stevie Awards Extends 21st American Business Awards Final Entry Deadline

Top Business Honors to Accept Final Nominations Through April 5

The Stevie® Awards, organizer of The American Business Awards®, announced today that the final entry deadline for the 21st annual competition has been extended through April 5. No additional late fees will be charged. Entries submitted through the new deadline will not be penalized in any way in the judging process.

“We’ve received so many requests for individual deadline extensions that we’ve decided to extend the deadline for everyone,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Miller. The original final deadline was March 8.

The American Business Awards are widely considered to be the premier business awards program in the U.S.A. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations— public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large, and small. Winners Announced in 17th Annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service

Winners in the 17th annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service, recognized as the world's top customer service awards and sales awards, were unveiled on Friday night at a gala ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada USA, attended by more than 400 executives from around the world.

DP DHL, with 46 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award wins, was the most honored organization this year, earning the top Grand Stevie Award trophy. This is the 11th year in a row in which the multinational package delivery and supply chain management company, headquartered in Bonn, Germany, has won a Grand Stevie in the program, and the ninth year of the 11 in which they placed first on the list of most honored organizations.

Winners of the 2023 People's Choice Stevie® Awards for Favorite Customer Service, a worldwide public vote, were announced today. Voting was conducted from January 25 through February 17, with the highest number of votes deciding the winners in 12 industry categories. More than 31,000 votes were cast this year.

All organizations honored in the Customer Service Department of the Year categories of this year’s Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service were eligible to be included in voting for the people’s choice awards. The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, now in their 17th year, are the world’s top honors for customer service, contact center, business development, and sales professionals.

The Final Entry Deadline for the 10th Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards Has Been Extended

The Stevie® Awards, organizer of the world's premier business awards programs, announced that they have revised the schedule for the 2023 (10th annual) Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

By popular demand, the final entry deadline has been extended to March 17. The judging process will extend through March 26. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced on April 5. Winners will be celebrated during a virtual awards ceremony on June 27, instead of the traditional awards banquet that had been planned for May 27.

Final Entry Deadline

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards is the only business awards program to recognize innovation throughout the entire Asia-Pacific region. The competition is open to all organizations across 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region: large and small, for-profit and non-profit, public and private.

The awards focus on recognizing innovation in all its forms, wherever it is achieved in the workplace. Entries will be accepted in English in the following awards category groups:

A new category group for 2023 recognizes Thought Leadership innovation in strategy, development, and execution since the beginning of July 2020.

In addition to a number of new categories, a public voting component has been added. All organizations that are honored with Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award trophies in the Company/Organization categories will automatically be included in People's Choice voting. People's Choice winners will receive a special People's Choice Stevie Award trophy allowing for honorees in the Company/Organization categories to have the opportunity to receive a second award, as voted by the general public worldwide. Voting for the People's Choice Stevie® Awards for Favorite Companies will open on April 5 and go through April 28.

The region’s only awards to recognize innovation in all its forms through the workplace in 18 Countries is now Accepting Entries through January 17.

By popular demand, the Stevie Awards have announced a general entry deadline extension for Middle East & North Africa Stevie ® Awards sponsored by RAK Chamber, UAE. Entries will now be accepted through January 17. (The original final deadline was November 9.) Details are available at http://MENA.StevieAwards.com.

The Middle East Stevie & North Africa Awards are the region’s only awards to recognize innovation in all its forms through the workplace. The awards are open to all organizations in 18 nations in the MENA region: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran (newly eligible for 2023), Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE & Yemen.

The Stevie Awards staged the fifth edition of its Women|Future Conference virtually on November 8-10 in conjunction with the Stevie Awards for Women in Business. More than 250 women shared three days of programming highlighted by a keynote presentation by Rashmi Verma, head of D&I at Hugo Boss.

Entries for the 2023 (20th) edition of the awards will open in May. The 2023 awards ceremony will be held at the Marriott Marquis in New York, NY USA in November.

More than 280 Stevie® Award winners and their guests attended The 19th annual International Business Awards® gala in London, England on Saturday, October 15 at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel. For those unable to attend, the ceremony was livestreamed to more than 2,000 viewers.

High-achieving organizations and professionals from 67 nations were named as Stevie Award winners this year from a pool of more than 3,700 applicants.

What You Missed
To kick-off festivities, gala attendees first enjoyed a formal reception at the hotel to network and forge new business relationships with other Stevie-winning professionals and leaders. Professionals from more than 27 nations around the world were able to join us this year.

Following the reception, dinner was served in the main ballroom for attendees and their guests. World-renowned emcee Simon Relph began the ceremony at 7:00 pm GMT +1 and kept the evening lighthearted and fun as we honored the 2022 winners. 

As each individual or organization received their award, guests learned about the winners’ professional, and often personal, journeys during their acceptance remarks.

Stevie-winner ASCIRA Global was one of the first companies to go on stage to accept their Stevie awards. Dr. John Sachtouras, Founder and CEO of online education and direct marketing platform ASCIRA, won the Gold Stevie Award for Chairman of the Year. 

Belynda Lee, Chief Operating Officer of ASCIRA, won a Silver Stevie Award for Woman of the Year. ASCIRA is a subscription-based company that offers personal development programs through a variety of online digital products. It aims to create a global, social lifestyle community and provide users the most diversified knowledge available.

Another winner, Empire Eagle Food Company, is the leading bubble tea manufacturer and supplier in Taiwan, exporting bubble tea materials to over 50 countries. Empire Eagle won a Gold Stevie Award for Company of the Year in Food & Beverage, and a Gold Stevie Award in Business-to-Business Products. They also won the People’s Choice Stevie Award for Favorite Companies - Food and Beverage.

Screen Shot 2022-10-19 at 2.30.00 PMMindy Jen of Empire Eagle Food Company in Taiwan surprised the crowd when she came back to the stage for a second time to accept the Stevie Award for her second company, BOBA ChiC! BOBA ChiC is a newer global distributor of innovative tea and milk powder drinks, using tea leaves grown on their own farm in the high mountains of Central Taiwan. It won the Bronze Stevie Award in Business-to-Business Products.

The youngest Stevie-winning professionals in attendance were from the Young Hospitality Summit in Switzerland. The Young Hospitality Summit was founded in 2010 by five students who shared the vision of fostering innovation in the industry through insightful discussions between thought leaders and hospitality students. Today, The Young Hospitality Summit has become the largest student-run summit in the world. Young Hospitality Summit won the Bronze Stevie Award for Conferences & Meetings in the Summit category.

DHL Express is the leading international courier service that specializes in providing comprehensive door-to-door logistics. DHL is a long time Stevie Award-winner, submitting nominations from many of their offices around the globe. DHL Express Mexico also accepted Stevie Awards on behalf of DHL Caribbean. DHL Express Switzerland was also in attendance.

DHL Express Mexico won two Silver and four Bronze Stevie Awards in categories including Support Team of the Year and Customer Service Department of the Year.

Cecilia Ortega, Quality Assurance & Customer Experience Professional at DHL Express Mexico won a Silver Stevie Award for Woman of the Year. Luis Saturno Chiu, Vice President, Customer Experience, won a Bronze Stevie for Executive of the Year in Transportation.

Grand Stevie Winners and Closing
Nominees in the 2022 IBAs were not able to apply for Grand Stevie Awards directly. Winners were determined by a points system based on the total number of awards won in the IBAs with a Gold Stevie win counting for three points, a Silver Stevie win for two points, and a Bronze Stevie win for 1.5 points, as well as having the highest average score in selected categories.

Two Grand Stevie Award winners were in attendance the night of the gala: Halkbank of Turkey and LLYC of Spain.

Halkbank won eight Gold, 11 Silver, and 13 
Bronze Stevie Awards, resulting in the Grand StevieAward for Organization of the Year. Pioneering the evolution of the Turkish banking sector for 84 years, Halkbank develops products and services in finance with an expertise in small and medium enterprises.

LLYC won eight Gold, seven Silver, and five Bronze Stevie Awards in categories including Company of the Year in Advertising, Marketing, & Public Relations, Communications or PR Campaign of the Year, and Public Relations Agency of the Year. These wins resulted in the Grand Stevie Award for Most Honored Public Relations Agency for the fourth consecutive year.

The last presentation of the evening concluded at 9:30 pm. Stevie-award organizers arranged for winners’ trophies and medals to be boxed up for transport. 

Most attendees ventured out to take advantage of London’s many attractions, continuing to celebrate their business accomplishments and form new alliances with fellow attendees.
