Yesterday we announced the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners in this year's (10th annual) International Business Awards, the world's top honors for achievements in the workplace.  See the full list of winners here.

Today we've opened voting for the People's Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies, a feature of the IBAs in which the general public worldwide can vote for their favorite companies and other organizations in 17 categories.  Voting is now open at http://peopleschoice.stevieawards.com

10th International Business Awards Announce Stevie Award Winners

Business Awards to Celebrate Excellence Worldwide at Barcelona Event

Organizations and individuals in more than 40 nations have been announced as Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie® Award winners in The 10th Annual International Business Awards, the world’s only international, all-encompassing business awards program.

Stevie AwardNicknamed the Stevies from the Greek word “crowned,” the awards will be presented at a gala event on Monday, 14 October at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. Tickets for the event are on sale now at www.StevieAwards.com/IBA.    

Winning 70 Gold Stevie Awards this year, organizations and individuals in the United States made the best showing.  South Korea came in second place with 43 Golds, while Turkey earned an impressive 21 Gold Stevies.  The United Kingdom earned 19 Gold followed by host nation Spain with 12, Canada with 11, China with 10, Australia with eight, Singapore with six, and the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates with five each.

The top Gold Stevie winner this year is Jack Morton Worldwide (UK and the USA) with five.  Accenture (USA), Maras Group (Australia), and Weber Shandwick (Brazil, Hong Kong and the UK) are runners-up with four each. Winners of three Gold Stevies are Best Doctors, Inc. (USA), Burson-Marsteller (Australia and the UAE), Coca-Cola Turkey (Turkey), Finansbank A.S. (Turkey), Globe Telecom (the Philippines), Ignacio de las Cuevas S.A. (Spain), KW Digital (Sweden), LLORENTE & CUENCA (Spain), Nu Skin Enterprises (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan), Reading Room (Singapore), and RTR Rete Rinnovabile (Italy).

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie winners were selected from more than 3,300 nominations received from organizations and individuals in more than 50 nations.  All organizations worldwide are eligible to compete in The International Business Awards, and can nominate in a wide range of categories, including management awards, company/organization awards, marketing awards, public relations awards, customer service awards, human resources awards, new product awards, IT awards, web site awards, and more.  

More than 100 professionals around the world participated in preliminary judging in May-July.  Their average scores determined the entries that were eligible to be considered in final judging, which was performed earlier this month by the members of 10 specialized committees.  In total, nearly 300 executives around the world participated in the judging process this year. 

Next week the winners of the Best of the IBA Awards, five best-of-competition prizes, will be announced.

103 Preliminary Judges for The International Business Awards

As we get ready to wrap up the final round of judging for The 10th Annual International Business Awards tomorrow, we want to acknowledge the contribution of the 103 professionals worldwide who participated in the preliminary round of judging for the 2013 IBAs.

Stevies 2013 LogoThe International Business Awards are the world's top business accolades, recognizing achievement in every facet of the workplace.  The IBAs feature categories to recognize achievements in management, new product development, marketing, public relations, creative media such as websites and apps, customer service, human resources, and more.

The preliminary round of judging, conducted from early May through mid-July, determined the entries in this year's IBAs that were eligible to be considered in the final round of judging, which began on July 29 and concludes on August 7.

Final Judging Chairs Named for International Business Awards

Final judging of The 2013 (10th Annual) International Business Awards, the world's top business honors, is set to begin next week, and today the names of the chairs of the 10 final judging committees were revealed.

The IBAs recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace, and this year received a record-number of entries from organizations in more than 50 nations.  Final judging will begin on July 29 and conclude on August 7, and will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie® Award winners who will then be announced on August 14.  The awards themselves will be presented on October 14 at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain.

Today, Wednesday, 10 July, is the final entry deadline for The 2013 (10th Annual) International Business Awards, the world's premier business awards competition.

The International Business Awards LogoAll individuals and organizations worldwide -- public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small -- may submit nominations to the IBAs. To begin your submission process, you should:

1. Request an entry kit. 
The entry kit will have all of the information you need regarding entry preparation and submission.

2. Review the 2013 IBA categories.
The International Business Awards honors all facets of the workplace, our award categories The International Business Awards recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace. All individuals and organizations worldwide -- public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small -- may submit nominations to the IBAs. Categories include:

Stevie® Awards are conferred upon top-scoring nominations in each category, as chosen by an international judging panel of more than 200 business leaders. Nominations should cite achievements during our eligibility period: January 2012 through 10 July 2013, the last day that late entries will be accepted. There is no eligibility timeframe for web site entries - it does not matter when the web sites were first published. Results will be announced on 14 August.

3. Submit your entries.
Select your categories, write your submissions according to the instructions, and submit your entries.

Because the 2013 awards banquet will take place on 14 October in Barcelona, Spain, all organizations in Spain may submitted an unlimited number of entries to the IBAs free of charge this year. The 9th Annual International Business Awards were presented in October 2012 in Seoul, South Korea.  Stevie winners included A.P. The final extended entry deadline for The 2013 (10th Annual) International Business Awards, the world's premier business awards competition, is quickly approaching on 10 July. (No additional late penalties or fees will be charged in association with the deadline extension. If you haven't already done so, you can request your entry kit here and it will be emailed to you right away.)

2013 International Business AwardsThe International Business Awards recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace. All individuals and organizations worldwide -- public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small -- may submit nominations to the IBAs. Our business award categories include: annual report awards, app awards, company/organization awards, customer service awards, human resources awards, information technology awards, management awards, marketing awards, new product awards, public relations awards, support awards, and website awards, among others. Stevie® Awards will be conferred at three levels of distinction: Gold, Silver and Bronze.  New for 2013, several Grand Stevie Awards will be conferred as best-of-competition prizes. The Stevie Award trophies, made by the company that makes the Oscar and other major international awards, are among the world’s most coveted prizes. Stevie Award winners will be selected by an international judging panel of more than 200 executives.

2013 Nominations should cite achievements during our eligibility period: January 2012 through 10 July 2013, the last day that late entries will be accepted. There is no eligibility timeframe for web site entries - it does not matter when the web sites were first published.

Because the 2013 awards banquet will take place on 14 October in Barcelona, Spain, all organizations in Spain may submitted an unlimited number of entries to the IBAs free of charge this year. Organizations in Spain should submit the promotion code "Barcelona" where indicated in the online entry process to have their entry fees waived.

The 2013 International Business Awards will include the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies, in which the general public worldwide will vote for their favorite companies. Each company honored with a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award in The International Business Awards’ company of the year categories will automatically be included in people’s choice voting.  Voting will open on 15 August.
