The 12^th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business is now accepting entries. All female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, and the organizations they run, worldwide, are eligible to be nominated.

How to Submit Your Entries

After you have chosen your categories and prepared your entries according to the requirements per category, do the following:

1. Visit the website at www.StevieAwards.com/Women and click on the ‘ENTER’ button on the top navigation bar.
2. Follow the instructions to complete the registration form for your organization, which will create your entry-submission account.
3. Within your entry-submission account, choose the first category you want to enter, and complete the entry form for that category.
4. Repeat the process as necessary for additional entries.
5. When you’ve created all of your entries, select all of them and click ‘SUBMIT SELECTED NOMINATIONS’ to begin the submission process.
6. Review and agree to the Terms and Conditions of Entry, and choose to pay your entry fees by credit card, bank check, or wire transfer.

The early-bird entry deadline, offering reduced entry fees, is July 22. The final entry deadline is August 26, and late entries will be accepted through September 23 with payment of a late fee. Winners of the 12th annual competition will be announced at a gala awards dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on November 13, 2015.  Attendance is not required to win.

This year the Stevie Awards for Women in Business will honor women in more than 85 categories including, among others, Entrepreneur of the Year, Executive of the Year, Maverick of the Year, Mentor or Coach of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Employee of the Year and Most Innovative Company of the Year.

The 13th Annual American Business Awards announced Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie® Award Winners on Monday night at the first of two gala award ceremonies taking place this year.

Monday evening’s ceremony at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel honored winners in categories for customer service, human resources, information technology, websites, corporate communications, live events, marketing, publications, videos, and selected categories for company/organization, and management. Winners in new product and technology-related categories, tech-related management, and select company/organization categories will be announced at an event at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco on September 11.

The American Business Awards honor an all-inclusive spectrum of American business people and organizations -- from non-profits, emerging start-ups, major public companies and government agencies, to corner-office executives, corporate communicators, support staff and customer service teams.

The IPRA Golden World Awards for Excellence: the world’s most prestigious international PR awards program, is delighted to announce a total of 50 winners for 2015.

Eighteen final judges from nations such as Peru, South Africa, the Philippines and Ghana converged on the English countryside on June 5 to select Golden World Award winners. After hours of deliberation, 50 winners emerged. In four cases there were tied entries in a single category, so the joint winners were named  as GWA winners.

“This year the competition was fierce with an impressively high standard of entries,” explains Amybel Sánchez de Walther, IPRA’s President: "the judges were sometimes struggling to select a single winner."

We know you’ve been busy. Between work, family, and maintaining your social life it can be hard to fit everything in. That is why we’re offering you the following guide on How to Enter The International Business Awards in 10 Minutes or Less. In just 10 minutes you can validate all the hard work you’ve put in this year and potentially win a Stevie®, one of the most coveted trophies on the planet!

The final entry deadline has been extended to July 15 and there are over 250 business awards categories from which to choose. It’s not too late. Following are a number of ways you can enter the IBAs in 10 minutes or less, get the recognition your company deserves, and get back to your busy, high-powered life:

Repurpose Nominations From Other Awards Programs
The submission requirements for the International Business Awards are fairly open-ended, and there is a wide variety of categories from which to choose. If you've entered any other awards programs this year or written about your organization’s accomplishments, you can repurpose that for the IBAs. Most categories require only the submission of an essay up to 650 words and a bullet-list summary of the achievements discussed in the essay. Add in any new accomplishments since you last wrote the submissions and you are ready to enter.

Repurpose Your Press Releases and White Papers
It's likely you've already described in detail your organization's achievements, innovations, your products and services, and your marketing and PR campaigns, etc. through PR materials during the year. You’ve been trumpeting your successes through press releases and white papers. Look through what you’ve produced in the past year and see what accomplishments stand out. Is it your organization as a whole? An executive or a new employee? Whatever it is, combine your award-worthy texts that you’ve already written to complete the short essay. Note that the 2015 IBAs will recognize your achievements since the beginning of 2014.

Repurpose Your Press Clippings
With every IBA submission you are encouraged to attach any number of press clippings, work samples, video clips, photographs, etc. to your essay to help paint a picture for the judges. If one or more of your press clipping stands out as having a compelling story and going above and beyond industry standards, it will be simple to use that as the basis for your essay.

Hire a Consultant
Did you know that there are a number of consultancies that specialize in preparing and submitting award nominations on behalf of their clients? Several of them have been remarkably successful over the years in winning Stevie Awards for their clients. Enter the Publication Awards
If your annual report, house organ, sales / marketing brochures, E-book, or business book was outstanding this year why not submit it for a Stevie Award? Submissions to these categories only require the publication itself and a 125-word summary describing the work’s purpose and results. It’s as simple as that!

Submit Media Work
Sometimes you hope to win a Stevie for a specific reason - for a major achievement, or for a member of your team - but sometimes it’s the smaller milestones that lead to greater success. If that's the case, take a look at the categories in the IBAs for videos, apps, websites, and live events. It's really easy to enter these categories. These categories generally require only a short essay of up to 125 words, describing the nominated work's purpose and results to date, and the nominated video or app, etc., itself.

Resubmit a Nomination From Another Stevie Awards Program
Did you have success with a nomination in the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, or the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards? One Stevie Awards competition has nothing to do with another, and resubmitting a nomination from one program to this year's IBAs is a valid strategy followed by many organizations. Update your Stevie Awards submission from the previous year with new endeavors and accomplishments.

No additional late fees charged

The Stevie® Awards, organizer of The International Business Awards, announced today that the final entry deadline for The 12th annual IBAs has been extended to July 15. The IBAs are the top business awards program and attract nominations from organizations in more than 50 nations and territories each year.

“We’ve received so many requests for individual deadline extensions that we’ve decided to extend the deadline for everyone,” said Stevie Awards president Michael Gallagher. The original final deadline was June 10. Gallagher emphasizes that no additional late fees will be charged for entries submitted through July 15, and late entrieswill not be penalized in any way in the judging process.” All organizations now have an additional four weeks to prepare and submit their entries in hopes of winning a Stevie award for their achievements.”

All individuals and organizations worldwide -- public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small -- may submit nominations to The International Business Awards. The 2015 awards will honor achievements since the beginning of 2014.  Entry details are available at http://www.StevieAwards.com/IBA.

Grand Stevie Award Winners Announced on 5 June at the InterContinental Hotel

Winners in the second annual Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards, the only awards program to recognize achievement in business throughout the entire Asia-Pacific region, were presented with their awards at a banquet at the InterContinental Hotel in Shanghai, China.  The list of Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners is available at http://Asia.StevieAwards.com.

Over 180 professionals attended the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards banquet. Stevie Award winners were from 13 nations including Australia, China, East Timor, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Nominations of more than 300 organizations were considered by the judges this year.

Grand Stevie Award winners were announced at the ceremony. Members of the first-round judging committees selected a Grand Stevie Award winner for category groups from the highest rated nomination by country. The Grand Stevie Winners are:

Zomato NZ Media Private Limited (New Zealand) are runners up, with three Gold Stevie wins. Winners of two Gold Stevie Awards include DHL Express NZ Customer Services (New Zealand), iTalent Corporation (multiple Asian offices), Mater Health Services (Australia), Stephen Gill Associates (Singapore), and Tecsia Lubricants (Singapore).

When people think of ‘business awards’ they most often think of awards for overall companies or executives, especially Fortune 500 companies. The Stevie Awards recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace for organizations of every size, including media produced by or for women. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business has categories for Websites and Blogs, Events, Apps, and Videos.

Entries in these categories require the following:

1. An essay of up to 125 words describing the nominated work: its purpose and results to date.
2. The nominated work itself, which you should upload to our server via the new uploading tool on our online entry form.
3. Optionally, you can provide creative and production credits for the work, such as writers, creative directors, and programmers.

Website or Blog of the Year: Recognizing excellence in websites and blogs created and maintained by or for women. There is no eligibility period requirement for this category - it doesn't matter when the site or blog was first published.

Event of the Year: Recognizing events of all types staged for women since July 1, 2014.

Smartphone or Tablet App of the Year: Recognizing excellence in smartphone and tablet apps produced by or for women since July 1, 2014.

Video of the Year: Recognizing excellence in videos produced by or for women since July 1, 2014.

Last year’s winner in the App of the Year category was created by Infant & Toddler Forum of London. The Infant & Toddler Forum provides reliable, evidence-based information and practical tools to support parents in making the right choices when feeding toddlers. Their ‘Tot It Up’ toddler food calculator app was released in 2013 so parents can monitor the food intake and activity of their children aged 1-4. Especially for first time parents, it can be confusing trying to figure out what the best foods are for your child. The app provides a personal analysis of the diet of the child and provides suggestions to ensure the child is getting the right balance of food groups, and works around any food allergies. Through the app, parents are also able to question children’s health professionals if need be.

Fabulous@50 won a Stevie Award for Event of the Year. They empower, educate and inspire women over the age of 40 through events, magazines and an online and offline membership. They host a Fabulous@50 Experience and Martini Party every year in November in Edmonton, Alberta. The event brings products, services, and speakers that are chosen specifically for this demographic. Nominating your organization in the Company of the Year categories of The International Business Awards has an important added benefit: Every organization nominated in those 34 industry-specific categories will automatically be included in voting for the People's Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies. 

The People's Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies is a worldwide public vote in which your customers, employees, fans, and followers may vote for your organization in one or more industry-specific category. Yes, it's a popularity contest, to run alongside the adjudicated peer-reviewed judging that will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners in each category. Voting will open to the public on August 13 and will close on September 11.

We'll share tools with People's Choice nominees to help them get as many votes as they possibly can. People's Choice winners will be presented with crystal People's Choice Stevie Award trophies at the IBA awards gala in Toronto, Canada on October 23.

To be included in people’s choice voting, you must first submit one or more nominations to the 34 Company of the Year categories. Information to be submitted online for entries in these categories in the 2015 competition include:

a. An essay of up to 650 words describing the nominated organization's achievements since January 1, 2014

b. In bullet-list form (up to 150 words), a brief summary of up to ten (10) of the nominated organization's chief achievements since January 1, 2014

c. Optional (but highly recommended), a collection of supporting files and web addresses that you may upload to our server to support your entry and provide more background information to the judges

All individuals and organizations worldwide -- public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small -- may submit nominations to The International Business Awards Company of the Year categories. The final entry deadline is June 10. Entry details are available at www.StevieAwards.com/IBA.

The first part of The 2015 American Business Awards ceremony will take place on June 22 at the Fairmont Millennium Park Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Awards in all categories except those for app and new products and services will be presented. (The app and new product awards will be presented during a second ceremony on September 11 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco.

The second annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards presentations will take place this Friday evening in Shanghai, China.  Tickets are still on sale.

This Friday, June 5 at the InterContinental Hotel Shanghai Pudong,  winners will be presented with their Stevie Awards in categories for websites awards, apps awards, IT awards, new products and services awards, management awards, company awards, marketing awards, and more. Grand Stevie Award winners will be announced at the event and published online on Saturday.
