Coveted Stevie® Awards to Be Presented at Ceremonies in Chicago and San Francisco

Finalists were announced today in The 12th Annual American Business Awards. Organizations as diverse as 7-Eleven, American Solar Direct, Bloomin' Brands, Cisco Systems, Google, McGladrey LLP, NASCAR, and the State of Michigan are among those recognized. Lists of Finalists by category have been published at http://www.StevieAwards.com/ABA.

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations and individuals in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations.

This year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie® Award winners will be announced at two banquets. The first will take place on June 13 at the Fairmont Millennium Park Hotel in Chicago, Illinois; and the second, with awards in the new product and technology-related categories, will be held on September 12 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, California. More than 800 executives are expected to attend the events. The ceremonies will be broadcast nationwide by the BizTalk Radio Network.    

Among the organizations with the most Finalists this year are Accenture, AMD, AT&T, CallidusCloud, Engility, Isagenix International, Jeunesse Global, John Hancock Signature Services, Makovsky, MWW, Quality Systems, and USANA Health Sciences.

A record number of nominations were submitted this year with more than 3,300 from organizations of all sizes and from virtually every industry. The ABAs include a wide variety of categories including management awards, new product awards, marketing awards, public relations awards, human resources awards, information technology awards, website awards, and more.

Finalists were chosen by more than 130 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. Members of nine specialized final judging committees will determine Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among Finalists in judging that will begin next week. More than 280 executives will participate in the judging process this year.

Voting will open in early July for the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products, a component of The American Business Awards that invites the general public to vote for their favorite new products of the year in a number of categories.

Stevie® Awards to Be Presented This Fall in Paris

The Stevie® Awards today issued the call for entries for The 11th Annual International Business Awards, the world’s premier business awards competition, which attracts nominations from organizations in more than 50 nations and territories each year.

All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – may submit nominations to The International Business Awards.  The entry deadline is 14 May.  Late entries will be accepted through 11 June, and results will be announced in mid-August.  Entry details are available at www.StevieAwards.com/IBA.  

Stevie Awards will be conferred at three levels of distinction: Gold, Silver and Bronze.  Several Grand Stevie Awards also will be conferred as best-of-competition prizes.  Stevie Award trophies, made by the company that makes the Oscar and other major international awards, are among the world’s most coveted prizes. Stevie Award winners will be selected by an international judging panel of more than 200 executives.

Business Awards to Celebrate Excellence Worldwide at Barcelona Event

Organizations and individuals in more than 40 nations have been announced as Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie® Award winners in The 10th Annual International Business Awards, the world’s only international, all-encompassing business awards program.

Nicknamed the Stevies from the Greek word “crowned,” the awards will be presented at a gala event on Monday, 14 October at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. Tickets for the event are on sale now at www.StevieAwards.com/IBA.    

Winning 70 Gold Stevie Awards this year, organizations and individuals in the United States made the best showing.  South Korea came in second place with 43 Golds, while Turkey earned an impressive 21 Gold Stevies.  The United Kingdom earned 19 Gold followed by host nation Spain with 12, Canada with 11, China with 10, Australia with eight, Singapore with six, and the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates with five each.

The top Gold Stevie winner this year is Jack Morton Worldwide (UK and the USA) with five.  Accenture (USA), Maras Group (Australia), and Weber Shandwick (Brazil, Hong Kong and the UK) are runners-up with four each. Winners of three Gold Stevies are Best Doctors, Inc. (USA), Burson-Marsteller (Australia and the UAE), Coca-Cola Turkey (Turkey), Finansbank A.S. The 2013 International Business Awards will include the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies, in which the general public worldwide will vote for their favorite companies. Each company honored with a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award in The International Business Awards’ company of the year categories will automatically be included in people’s choice voting.  Voting will open on 15 August.

Because the 2013 awards banquet will take place on 14 October in Barcelona, Spain, all organizations in Spain may submitted an unlimited number of entries to the IBAs free of charge this year. Organizations in Spain should submit the promotion code "Barcelona" where indicated in the online entry process to have their entry fees waived.

The 9th Annual International Business Awards were presented in October 2012 in Seoul, South Korea.  Stevie winners included A.P. Moller Maersk AS, Accenture, Coca Cola Turkey, Delta Air Lines, Inc., Etisalat Group, HSBC, Hyundai Motor Company , Infosys, Lenovo Group, Qualcomm Incorporated, Samsung Electronics, TATA Power, and Unilever, among others.  2012 results are summarized at http://www.stevieawards.com/pubs/iba/awards/408_2219_21728.cfm.

This Wednesday, 10 July, is the final extended entry deadline for The 2013 (10th Annual) International Business Awards, the world's premier business awards competition. (No additional late penalties or fees will be charged in association with the deadline extension.)
