Es ist wieder soweit. Die Stevie^® Awards loben die diesjährigen International Business Awards^® aus. Unternehmen und Einzelpersonen aus der ganzen Welt können sich jetzt wieder mit ihren geschäftlichen Leistungen aus allen Bereichen der Arbeitswelt bewerben. Prämiert werden Leistungen, die seit dem 1. Januar 2018 erbracht wurden. 

Frühentschlossene Teilnehmer profitieren dabei von reduzierten Teilnahmegebühren. Wer seine Bewerbung bis zum 10. April einreicht, spart dabei bares Geld. Die Teilnahmefrist zu den regulären Konditionen läuft bis zum 8. Mai. Und wer ein bisschen mehr Zeit braucht, der darf mit der Zahlung einer Nachgebühr seine Unterlagen auch noch bis zum 12. Juni einreichen. 

Für dieses Jahr haben die Organisatoren einige spannenden Neuerungen eingeführt.

Bewerbung per Video
In den Kategorien Company of the Year Awards, Marketing, Neue Produkte & Dienstleistungen sowie in den PR-Awards dürfen die Teilnehmer jetzt ein Video mit einer Länge von bis zu fünf Minuten, anstelle des traditionell verfassten Stevie Awards-Essays oder der Fallstudie, einreichen. 

„Gerade im Marketing und in der PR spielen (Bewegt-)bilder heute eine große Rolle. Die Bewerbung ihrer Kampagnen in Form eines Videos aufzubereiten, birgt für die Teilnehmer eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten, um die erbrachten Leistungen der Experten-Jury umfassender zu präsentieren und wirklich näherzubringen“ erklärt Michael Gallagher, Präsident und Gründer der Stevie^® Awards. „Auch neue Produkte und Dienstleistungen können durch ein Video dynamischer dargestellt und beschrieben werden. Wir sind sehr gespannt darauf, wie kreativ die Teilnehmer diese neue Einreichungsform nutzen werden.“ 

Kostenfreie Teilnahme in den Company of the Year Awards
In der Regel ist bei der Einreichung von Nominierungen bei den IBAs eine Teilnahmegebühr fällig. Nur einzelne Kategorien sind davon ausgenommen. In diesem Jahr verzichten die Stevie® Awards erstmalig auf die Teilnahmegebühren der 35-Branchen Kategorien in den Company of the Year Awards.

Die Gold-, Silber- und Bronze-Preisträger dieser Kategorien, nehmen dann automatisch an der öffentlichen Abstimmung des People's Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies teil. Damit haben Preisträger in diesen Kategorien die Möglichkeit, gleich zwei Preise zu gewinnen: einen von unseren Fachjurys verliehenen Preis und den anderen, der von der Öffentlichkeit gewählt wird.

Auch in den Video-Awards finden sich viele neue Einzelkategorien, wie beispielsweise zu den Themen Corporate Social Responsibility, Fashion & Lifestyle oder Science & Education. Die IT Awards zeichnen ab diesem Jahr auch die beste technische Supportstrategie und -implementierung sowie die beste technische Supportlösung aus. Preisverleihung in brandneuem Luxushotel ANDAZ Vienna am Belvedere
Die Preisträger der Stevie Awards werden ab Juni von spezialisierten Jurygremien mit über 150 Fachjuroren ermittelt. Die Ergebnisse werden am 13. August bekanntgegeben. Die Stevie Awards Trophäen und Medaillen werden den Preisträgern in diesem Jahr in dem brandneuen Luxushotel Andaz Vienna am Belvedere in Wien verliehen. Dazu findet am 19. Oktober ein exklusives Gala-Bankett statt.

Oncology is the study and treatment of tumors. Although three major fields exist within oncology -- medicine, surgery, and radiation, it’s generally understood as a branch of medicine that treats cancer. What do creativity, brands, design, and advertising have to do with any of that? A lot, as it turns out.

Am Freitag, den 21. September 2018, war es endlich soweit. Die Stevie Awards kürten die Preisträger der diesjährigen Stevie Awards for Great Employers. Im Rahmen einer feierlichen Preisverleihung in New York City überreichte Michael Gallagher, Präsident und Gründer der Stevie Awards, den stolzen Gewinnern ihre Trophäen und Medaillen.

Die Stevie Awards for Great Employers zeichnen herausragende Unternehmen, HR-Teams und HR-Manager sowie Dienstleister, neue Produkte und Services aus, die Unternehmen darin unterstützen, herausragende Arbeitsplätze zu schaffen und zu erhalten. Unter den Preisträgern finden sich auch in diesem Jahr wieder renommierte Unternehmen aus Deutschland.

Einer der Top-Gewinner des Abends war die Deutsche Telekom Services Europe GmbH aus Köln. Das Tochterunternehmen der Deutschen Telekom AG gewinnt gleich dreimal Gold, einmal Silber und siebenmal Bronze in den verschiedenen Kategorien. Die Gold-Trophäen gewinnt das Unternehmen in den Kategorien „Achievement in Workplace Design - for More Than 100 Employees - Multiple Locations“ für seinen innovativen Ansatz zur Gestaltung von selbstbestimmten und flexiblen Teilzeitmodellen, sowie in den Kategorien „Self-Service HR Solution – New“ und „Attendance Tracking Solution – New“ für seine neue Clock-in-App. Die Preise nahm entgegen Andre Jansen, HR-Produktmanager.

Die Deutsche Telekom Services Europe GmbH (DTSE) ist eine hundertprozentige Tochter der Deutschen Telekom AG. Die DTSE vereint die Bereiche Human Resources, Finanzen, Beschaffung und Reporting unter einem Dach. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Kundenzufriedenheit, Qualität und Innovation, um Prozesse zu rationalisieren und zu vereinfachen.

Weitere Preisträger aus Deutschland waren die Daimler AG aus Stuttgart, die einen
Gold Stevie Award in der Kategorie „Achievement in Recruitment“ gewann, sowie die SAP SE aus Walldorf, Preisträger eines Silber Stevie Awards in der Kategorie „Learning/Training Team of the Year“. Einen Silber und einen Bronze Stevie Award gewann die Johannesbad Hotels Bad Füssing GmbH aus Bad Füssing in den Kategorien „Employer of the Year - Hospitality & Leisure“ und „Engagement/Happiness Team of the Year“.  

Insgesamt gingen in diesem Jahr über 550 Bewerbungen von Unternehmen aus 21 Nationen bei den Stevie Awards for Great Employers ein. Die Preisträger wurden durch eine international besetzte Jury von über 50 Experten ermittelt.

Winners in the 2018 Stevie® Awards for Great Employers, an international competition, were announced on Friday, September 21 during a gala event in New York City. The awards recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.    A complete list of Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners by category is available at www.StevieAwards.com/HR. 

A diverse group of organizations and individuals around the world are among those recognized. The organization that won the Grand Stevie Award for Most Honored Organization of the Year is ej4 of St. Louis, Missouri USA with nine Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award wins totaling 23 points.  Organization of the Year goes to the organization with the most award points, with each Gold Stevie win counting for three points, each Silver Stevie win for two points, and each Bronze Stevie for one-and-a-half points.

There was a tie for the Grand Award for the Highest-Rated Nomination of the Year, between the Gold Stevie-winning Employer of the Year nominations of Allianz Partners of Richmond, VA USA and New World Development Company of Hong Kong, so both of those nominations were honored with Grand Stevie trophies.

Leading winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevies include Deutsche Telekom Services Europe GmbH with three Gold, one Silver, and seven Bronze Stevie Awards in a variety of categories; Tata Consultancy Services of Mumbai, India and Toronto, Canada, which won five Gold, two Silver, and two Bronze Stevie Awards; and Turkcell of Istanbul, Turkey, winner of one Gold, one Silver, and 11 Bronze Stevies.

Finalists in the 2018 (third annual) Stevie Awards for Great Employers, an international competition, were announced today. The awards recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements, and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.    

Among the organizations with the most finalist nominations are Benefex (United Kingdom), Deutsche Telekom Services Europe GmbH (Germany), ej4 (USA), Tata Consultancy Services (India), and Turkcell (Turkey).

The Stevie® Awards, organizer of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, announced today that the final entry deadline for the third annual competition has been extended to Thursday, August 9. The Stevie Awards for Great Employers honors the world’s best companies to work for and the HR teams and professionals, HR achievements, new products and services and suppliers that help to create and drive great workplaces.

“We’ve received so many requests for individual deadline extensions that we’ve decided to extend the deadline for everyone,” said Stevie Awards president Michael Gallagher. The original final deadline was July 18. Gallagher emphasizes that no additional late fees will be charged for entries submitted through August 9, and late entries will not be penalized in the judging process. All organizations now have three more weeks to prepare and submit their entries.

Other leading winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevies include the Istanbul (Turkey) Gas Distribution Company, with two Gold, one Silver and nine Bronze wins, and ej4, a leading video e-learning producer based in Missouri, USA with three Gold, one Silver and three Bronze Stevies.

Samsung Electronics’ operations in Turkey won three Gold Stevie Awards.  Winners of two Gold Stevies each include BenefitMall (USA), Creative Lodging Solutions (USA), Elements Global Services (USA), Haier Group (China), KIND Snacks (USA), McAfee (USA), and UST Global (USA).

KIND Snacks’ Gold Stevie-winning nomination for Employer of the Year in the Food & Beverage industries was also awarded the Grand Stevie Award trophy as the highest-scoring nomination in the competition.

Winners were determined by the average scores of more than 50 professionals worldwide, acting as judges.  Stevie Award winners in the 35 Employer of the Year categories were determined by a unique blending of the ratings of professionals and the votes of the general public.

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize achievement in many facets of the workplace. Category groups include:

The awards are presented by the Stevie Awards, which organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious International Business Awards and American Business Awards.
