Haben Sie die Neuigkeiten schon gehört? Das Programm der Women|Future Conference 2022 ist online! Wir haben ein inspirierendes Programm mit über 70 weiblichen CEOs, Gründerinnen, Kleinunternehmerinnen, Coaches und Führungskräften zusammengestellt. Die 5. jährliche Women|Future Conference wird vom 8. bis 10. November 2022 virtuell abgehalten.

Die Women|Future Conference feiert Frauen in der Wirtschaft, in der beruflichen und persönlichen Entwicklung und im Fortschritt. Das Programm diesen Jahres umfasst mehr als 20 Sitzungen, die in sieben Bereiche fallen: Diversität, Gleichstellung & Inklusion, Unternehmergeist, Zukunft der Arbeit, Führung, Marketing, persönliche Entwicklung und Technologie.

Die Sitzungen sind für ehrgeizige, karriereorientierte Fachfrauen gedacht, die lernen und sich darüber austauschen möchten, was in ihren Unternehmen funktioniert, die Herausforderungen, mit denen sie gemeinsam konfrontiert sind, bewältigen und sinnvolle Kontakte knüpfen möchten.

Die Referentinnen kommen sowohl aus kleinen Unternehmen als auch aus Fortune-500-Organisationen, darunter Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Hilton, IBM, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Nestle, T-Mobile. Wir laden Sie dazu ein, die Rednerliste und die Tagesordnung zu studieren, um sich einen Überblick über die stattfindenden Sitzungen zu verschaffen, einschließlich der Vor-Konferenz-Sitzungen am 7. November.

Speakers Women Future Conference

Den Auftakt der Konferenz bildet am Montag, den 7. November um 11 Uhr Eastern Standard Time die erste von drei Vor-Konferenz-Sitzungen "Find Your Voice: Insider Secrets from Seasoned Speakers" (Finden Sie Ihre Stimme: Insider-Geheimnisse von erfahrenen Rednerinnen), gefolgt von einem Technologie-Panel um 12 Uhr "The Ever-changing World of Social Media" (Die sich ständig verändernde Welt der sozialen Medien).  Am 8. November hören die Teilnehmer die Eröffnungssitzung "Building Your Community of Mentors" (Aufbau einer Mentoren-Gemeinschaft), in der Ressourcen für den Aufbau eines Mentoring-Fahrplans vorgestellt werden - sowohl für Mentoren als auch für Mentees.  Die zweite Sitzung des ersten Tages ist die mit Spannung erwartete Eröffnungs-Keynote über die Zukunft der Arbeit für Frauen (Sprecherin wird in Kürze bekanntgegeben), gefolgt von einer Mischung aus Panels und Workshops in jedem unserer sieben Sitzungstracks. Zwischen den einzelnen Sitzungen sind jeweils 30- und 5-Minuten-Blöcke für Networking vorgesehen, und am 9. November gibt es eine 15-minütige geführte Yoga-Mediationspause. The 2022 Women|Future Conference Agenda Launched

Did you hear the news? The 2022 Women|Future Conference agenda is live! We've got an inspiring lineup of 70+ women CEOs, founders, small business owners, entrepreneurs, coaches, and executives. The 5th annual Women|Future Conference will be held virtually from November 8-10, 2022.

The Women|Future Conference celebrates women in business, professional and personal development, and progress. This year's agenda contains 20+ sessions that fall within seven tracks: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Entrepreneurship, Future of Work, Leadership, Marketing, Personal Development, and Technology.

The sessions are designed for ambitious, career-driven professionals to learn and share what’s working in their organizations, troubleshoot the challenges they collectively face, and make meaningful connections.

Speakers Women Future Conference

Kicking off the conference on Monday, November 7 at 11:00 am EST is our first of three pre-conference sessions, "Find Your Voice: Insider Secrets from Seasoned Speakers," followed by a technology panel at 12:00 pm, "The Ever-changing World of Social Media."  On November 8, attendees will hear the opening leadership session, "Building Your Community of Mentors," which will provide resources on how to build your mentorship roadmap- whether as a mentor or mentee.  The second session of day one is the anticipated opening keynote about the future of work for women (speaker coming soon!) followed by a mix of panels and workshops in each of our seven session tracks. There are designated 30-minute and 5-minute blocks between sessions each day for networking, as well as a 15-minute guided yoga mediation break on November 9. Zoe Simmons Advocates for Individuals with Disabilities Through Her Journalism

Stevie Award-winner Zoe Simmons is a journalist, copywriter, editor, and author based in Australia who writes with the goal of making a difference in the world. Zoe has published her work hundreds of times in major publications such as New York Post, News.com.au, and Daily Mail. She specializes in capturing audiences through the raw power of storytelling, tackling challenging topics in a way that connects with readers. Recently, she has been working on her first book on her town's survival in the Black Summer Bushfires, a cause for which she has also raised over $15,000. Additionally, Zoe has published pieces including personal stories, guides, and features, all containing an element of activism on bushfire recovery, mental health, disability, and more.zoe simmons

In 2016, Zoe started her freelance writing business. She built her business part-time while working as a social media assistant at the Daily Mail and a communications assistant at Forensicare. She then transitioned to full-time business ownership as a copywriter and editor in July 2021. Now, she works to help businesses find the perfect words to engage their audiences. As a chronic pain and mental health advocate, she still regularly writes and shares stories to combat the stigma of disability. Specifically, she has worked with organizations like Women With Disabilities Australia, Reach Out, SANE, Endometriosis Australia, and more, creating content that makes a difference in the lives of disabled people.

It’s not about the finances for Zoe, but the impact of her words. Since advocacy is integral to her business, her stories are more to her than just works, but a sign that she is helping someone in their hour of need. She chooses to run her copywriting business in a way that sets her apart from others, accommodating employees and clients who deal with daily health struggles.

Since winning her Silver Stevie Award, Zoe has appeared on a number of podcasts, where she has spoken about her commitment to advocating for chronic pain and mental illness acceptance. Additionally, she presented at the 2021 National Young Writers Festival in Australia, including the panel on Journalism and Trauma: Keeping Safe in an Unsafe World. Zoe has also been continuing to develop her journalism workshop, where she shares the impacts of journalism, how stories stick with readers, and practical advice on how to best support ourselves and others through the storytelling process.

Zoe Simmons won the Silver Stevie Award in the 2021 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business for Young Female Entrepreneur of the Year.

The 2022 Stevie® Awards for Great Employers Public Voting Now Open

The Stevie® Awards, organizer of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, announced today that the public voting in the Employer of the Year categories for the seventh annual competition is now open through August 1. The Stevie Awards for Great Employers honors the world’s best companies to work for and the HR teams and professionals, HR achievements, new products and services and suppliers that help to create and drive great workplaces.

The final entry deadline has been extended through Friday, July 22 There are no extra fees for entering through the extended deadline.

Stevie Award winners in the 31 Employer of the Year categories will be determined by a unique blending of the ratings of Stevie Awards judges and the votes of the general public. Teststäbchen statt Bankschalter – Volksbankmitarbeitende glänzen bei den German Stevie® Awards 2022

Unter dem Motto „Helfenden Hände haben Volksbankmitarbeiter:innen während der Corona-Pandemie unbürokratisch und ehrenamtlich morgens zwischen 6.15 und 8.30 Uhr ihren Bankeranzug gegen Schutzanzug, Atemmaske, Schutzbrille und Einmalhandschuhe ausgetauscht und in Kindergärten und Kindertagesstätten in Offenburg Covid-Tests durchgeführt, damit der Regelbetrieb des täglichen Lebens aufrechterhalten werden konnte.

Ehrenamtliche Unterstützung bei der Covid-19 Testung

27 Zukunftsgestalter:innen waren mehr als 600 Stunden im Einsatz – dieses wertvolle Engagement in schweren Zeiten wurde in den Kategorien zum Umgang mit Covid-19 mit einem Gold Stevie® für die wertvollste Reaktion eines Unternehmens ausgezeichnet.

Darüber hinaus honorierte die Volksbank eG den ehrenamtlich geleisteten Einsatz ihrer Mitarbeitenden mit Sonderurlaub -  für acht Stunden ehrenamtlichen Einsatz erhielten Mitarbeitende 1,5 Tage Sonderurlaub. Insgesamt stellte die Gestalterbank ein Budget von 1.000 Arbeitstagen für die gesamte Crew der Gestalterbank zur Verfügung.

Auch im Geschäftsgebiet Schwarzwald Baar Hegau kamen die „helfenden Hände“ zum Einsatz. Die 16 Helferinnen und Helfer, die jeden Mittwoch beim Theater am Ring zwischen 9 und 19 Uhr Covid-Tests durchgeführt haben, waren ebenfalls Mitarbeiteitende der Volksbank eG – Die Gestalterbank. Allein durch ihren Einsatz, konnte das Testzentrum an diesen Tagen betrieben werden. In zwei Schichten mit je mindestens fünf Personen haben sie an einem Tag in der Woche die Stadt Villingen-Schwenningen in ihrer Teststrategie unterstützt.

„Soziales Engagement liegt schon immer in unserem genossenschaftlichen genetischen Code und ist für uns eine Selbstverständlichkeit“, so Markus Dauber – Co-Vorstandsvorsitzender der "Volksbank eG – Die Gestalterbank". „Wir sind stolz auf unsere Mitarbeiter und deren Engagement. Und wir freuen uns, dass dieser Einsatz öffentliche Anerkennung findet. Immerhin sind wir in einer Kategorie, in der die Mitbewerber American Express Payments Europe, DHL und Ziemer & Falke GmbH & Co.KG heißen, als Sieger hervorgegangen.“

Schutz der Mitarbeitenden

Neben dem Schutz der Bevölkerung steht der Schutz der eigenen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern ganz oben auf der Agenda der Gestalterbank. Bereits im März 2020 hatte die Bank ihren Mitarbeiter:innen Coronatests angeboten und stellt nun bis zu 20 Selbsttests im Monat zur Verfügung.  

Gestalterbank-Impfangebot - Nachdem die Priorisierung bei den Impfungen am 7. Juni 2021 aufgehoben wurde, hat die Volksbank eG sofort reagiert und ihren Mitarbeiter:innen sehr zeitnah die Covid-Impfungen durch ihre Betriebsärzte ermöglicht. 390 Mitarbeiter wurden in der Bank geimpft.

110.000 Masken wurden von der Bank bestellt. Ca. 20.000 FFP2 Masken davon wurden an Altenheime, Pflegeheime, caritative Einrichtungen etc. gespendet. Der Rest wurde/wird laufend den Mitarbeitern zur Verfügung gestellt. Für 5.000 Euro wurden Lebensmittel an die Tafel gespendet Bereits im März 2020 wurden Sicherheitsmaßnahmen für Kunden und Mitarbeiter in den Filialen und im Backoffice umgesetzt. 600 Banker sind seither im Homeoffice.

Triple Gold for Childress Business Communication’s Work Helping Entrepreneurs Create Books That Sell and Make an Impact

Cindy Childress, CEO of Childress Business Communication, won Gold in one of the broadest, most competitive categories in The 2021 International Business Awards®: Company of the Year - Business or Professional Services. Then it won Gold again – for Company of the Year – Media & Entertainment. In the American Business Awards for 2022, Childress Business Communication did it yet again, with a third Company-wide Gold.

How Cindy Childress did it is this: in a field packed with companies that offer writing and editing services, Childress brought a razor-sharp focus on entrepreneurs-as-authors instead of on the usual broad base of “anyone goes.” The company provides book-writing excellence in a business where editorial excellence too easily falls by the wayside; the compassion to get entrepreneurs through the editorial process without the usual stress; and, yes, the business savvy to make sure their books sell.

The recipe sets the company apart and the judges clearly took notice. As one wrote, “Amazing work by Childress to support people who have ideas but may lack execution.” And this, more than once: “Great job! Keep it up!”

Childress also won for the specific work she did during the “awards years” of 2019 through 2021, which included the all-important time period when Covid-19 ravaged the globe.

As Covid spread, Childress Business Communication had its biggest month ever thanks to the popularity of book-writing as millions the world over were in lockdown.

An expert in social media, Cindy Childress took to Instagram and offered her first Zoom Masterclass aimed at business owners. And so they signed up – in droves – from Japan to Europe to Los Angeles. Women all, many using books to create their businesses in the first place.

Then Childress offered an expensive add-on after the Masterclass: a book coaching program with a VIP Service where, in addition to the class itself, Childress reads your manuscript, chapter by rough chapter. The “droves” continued to sign up, no matter the cost, and grateful still for the hands-on help in launching their business from the ground up.

Then, via a new website, Childress went full-on comprehensive offering clients what they need to succeed, none more so than a brilliantly conceived “elevator pitch.” As Childress says, “Most CEOs can’t describe their businesses, causing what I know is serious damage to the bottom line.”

As for Ghostwriting and co-writing books - important services for entrepreneurs who are often too busy to spend 100s of hours writing a book - it was back in 2017 that Childress launched her company with those services in mind. Childress staffed the young company with a team of writers and editors only to discover that she herself was “a ghostwriting genius” who could pen a tome in less time and with more flair than most.

Against the recommendations of many others, she became “Ghostwriter-in-Chief.” During the awards period, the company worked on many popular books from the self-help “The Logical Law Of Attraction” to the timely tome on college admission aimed at moms and the likes of an African American author who knew Childress alone could capture her “Caribbean voice.” Real estate and financial books hit the Amazon bestseller lists.

Revenues went up 30%; newsletter subscriptions 300%. And, yes, a percentage of all sales went to underserved entrepreneurs, as has been done since the company began.

During Covid as well, the company offered one-of-a-kind “book rescues” to help clients bring clarity and “purpose” to books already written and tossed aside - as they often are - due to poor sales.

The company’s awards period(s) Amazon bestsellers include “The Money Tree”; “How Good Humans Sell” (debuted #1 in leadership); “Unlock Your Potential”; “Mailbox Money Mindset”, among others.

Major media came calling, too, including U.S. News & World Report.

The first website powerfully focused on Childress herself debuted, too. Often described as “stylish” and “charming, Childress has a Ph.D. in English, too. From Australia to Hong Kong. Europe, Canada, and Mexico writers saw that site and signed up.

While this CEO remained highly paid as always ($30,000-plus is routine for a ghostwritten book) while offering free 'Getting Started' courses and much-needed elevator pitch assistance to her entrepreneurial base.

A longtime supporter of women’s causes, Childress also knew Instagram audiences would be largely female – and that they would sign up for the Masterclasses, which they did. For them Childress had a unique warning: avoid “feminine writing.” “Women downplay their work. I teach them otherwise.”

Die Stevie® Awards, Veranstalter der weltweit führenden Wirtschaftspreisprogramme, haben bekannt gegeben, dass der Einsendeschluss für die siebten jährlichen Stevie® Awards for Great Employers bis Freitag, den 22. Juli, verlängert wurde. Die Stevie Awards for Great Employers zeichnen die weltweit arbeitnehmerfreundlichsten Unternehmen aus, sowie die HR-Teams und -Fachleute, HR-Leistungen, neue Produkte und Dienstleistungen und Zulieferer, die dazu beitragen, großartige Arbeitsplätze zu schaffen und zu fördern.

"Nachdem uns viele Anfragen für individuelle Fristverlängerungen erreichten, haben wir uns entschlossen, die Frist für alle zu verlängern", sagte Maggie Miller, Präsidentin der Stevie Awards. Miller betont, dass für Beiträge, die bis zum 22. Juli eingereicht werden, keine zusätzlichen Gebühren erhoben werden, und dass verspätete Beiträge bei der Bewertung nicht benachteiligt werden. Ursprünglich war der 7. Juli der letzte Einsendeschluss.

Organisationen haben nun noch drei Wochen Zeit, ihre Beiträge vorzubereiten und einzureichen. Alle Einzelpersonen und Organisationen weltweit - öffentlich und privat, gewinnorientiert und gemeinnützig, groß und klein - können Nominierungen für die Stevie Awards for Great Employers einreichen. In diesem Jahr gibt es mehrere neue Kategorien im Bereich Thought Leadership, darunter "Unternehmensleistung in Thought Leadership Kompetenzen", "Unternehmensleistung in Thought Leadership Talent", "Unternehmensleistung in Thought Leadership für Rekrutierung", "Unternehmensleistung in betriebsinternem Thought Leadership" und "Personalwesens-Thought Leader des Jahres".

Vierzehn der 16 Einzel-Kategorien im Bereich Personalwesen erfordern keine Teilnahmegebühr.

Die Gewinnerinnen und Gewinner in den 31 branchenspezifischen Kategorien für den "Employer of the Year" werden durch eine einzigartige Mischung aus öffentlichen Abstimmungen und professionellen Bewertungen ermittelt. Die öffentliche Abstimmung findet vom 11. Juli bis 1. August statt.

Hoffmann-La Roche (Basel, Schweiz), Gamelearn (Madrid, Spanien), Halkbank (Istanbul, Türkei), Modis Bulgaria (Sofia, Bulgarien), Swiss Re (Zürich, Schweiz) und viele mehr.

The Stevie® Awards for Great Employers Final Deadline Extended through July 22

The Stevie® Awards, organizer of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, announced today that the final entry deadline for the seventh annual competition has been extended to Friday, July 22. The Stevie Awards for Great Employers honors the world’s best companies to work for and the HR teams and professionals, HR achievements, new products and services and suppliers that help to create and drive great workplaces.

“After many requests for individual deadline extensions, we have decided to extend the deadline for everyone,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Miller. The original final deadline was July 7. Miller emphasizes that no additional late fees will be charged for entries submitted through July 22, and late entries will not be penalized in the judging process.

All organizations now have three more weeks to prepare and submit their entries. All individuals and organizations worldwide - public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - may submit nominations to the Stevie Awards for Great Employers. The 2022 awards will honor achievements since the beginning of 2020. Entry details are available at http://www.StevieAwards.com/HR.

There are new categories in 2022 for Thought Leadership including Achievement in Thought Leadership Skills, Achievement in Thought Leadership Talent, Achievement in Thought Leadership for Recruitment, Achievements in Internal Thought Leadership, and HR Thought Leader of the Year.

Fourteen of the 16 HR Individual categories do not require payment of entry fees.

Winners in the 31 industry-specific Employer of the Year categories will be determined by a unique blend of public votes and professional ratings. Public voting will take place from July 11 - August 1.

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize achievement in many facets of the workplace. Categories include:

More than 100 professionals worldwide, working on several juries, will determine the Stevie Award winners. Winners in the 2022 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards will be announced on August 8, and celebrated during a gala banquet, conditions permitting, on September 17 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada USA.

Sophie Bowman Helps Influencers Convert Their Following into Sales

Covertyourfollowers.com, founded by Sophie Bowman, provides services to social media influencers who want to convert their followers into customers via innovative strategies. The company was created in 2020 when the United States government attempted to impose bans on the social media service, TikTok. During this time, many influencers feared what would happen if other forms of social media were threatened. Their followers, time, and money could disappear. 

Convertyourfollowers.com was created to serve one major purpose; to educate brands and individuals on how to convert their social media followers to customers. Sophie saw that even major brands failed to convert fans to sales, so she set up convertyourfollowers.com to educate the world and help business owners improve their sales.

The proven process was first tested on a giveaway collaboration with BALMAIN and a celebrity entrepreneur. Within 24 hours, they received 950 email subscribers which were then retargeted with email marketing campaigns. Sales of the entrepreneur's beauty brand were up by 38% that month with no cost. The process was so successful that Shark Tank's Kevin Harrington said, “This is such a niche and unique business model which I think is a lifeline for businesses.” 

Sophie is now shattering glass ceilings by educating business owners and individuals on how to implement this process themselves to cut out the costly marketing middlemen. Typically, this service would cost thousands of dollars a month, but her goal is to help business owners save their businesses or ensure that they thrive rather than survive the aftermath of COVID. She has won multiple awards for her pro bono efforts to support business owners throughout the pandemic.

Since winning the Gold Stevie Award for Company of the Year, Sophie started to launch her book, How to Convert Your Social Media Followers to Customers. Additionally, Sophie has been featured on billboards in Times Square as an example of an inspirational immigrant who launched two patented technology brands in the past year. Following the success of the BALMAIN campaign, she integrated a $200 voting poll plugin on the celebrity entrepreneur's website and launched a monthly makeup contest to tap into her army of influencers for her makeup and beauty brands. The influencers used their own social channels to ask for votes from their followers, driving 63,000 unique visitors to the celebrity entrepreneur's blog within 24 hours. Many of these visitors gave their email addresses and were retargeted via marketing campaigns which saw sales of her brands increase by 70% the following month.
